As a first time mom and Registered Nurse with pediatric experience, I feel it’s my duty to further educate our community about teathered oral tissues and their impact on our overall health. After watching my son suffer from what people like to call “colic” for nearly two months and being dismissed by multiple healthcare providers and specialists, I began to do extensive research to get to the bottom of my son’s suffering. Once I had a better understanding about the depth of teathered oral tissues, I realized how uneducated healthcare professionals and our overall community are about this condition. Please help me in this mission by sharing my son Emmett’s story with not only health professionals, but also your friends and loved ones.
